Fascia and soffits
We can supply and install a wide selection of high quality fascia and soffit products to suit your property, backed up by the highest level of customer service.
With new UPVC fascias and soffit boards, you’ll no longer have to worry about:
- Climbing ladders, painting or costly maintenance.
- Rotting timber or leaks.
- Condensation and smells due to a poorly ventilated roof.
Your roofline is not just aesthetic, it also provides vital protection from the elements for your home. Water ingress can be especially damaging to the fabric of your building, such as the rafters. In addition, poor fascia ventilation can result in condensation issues including mould. Over time, roofline components can become rotten, brittle, loose or disjointed, due to weather damage, resulting in the need to carry out more major repairs or full replacement.
A wide range of products
We have a wide range of fascia boards, bargeboards, down pipes; cladding, soffits and guttering in white, rosewood, brown, light oak or black.
We use only the best Roofline products, which are low maintenance and stay looking good year after year without any discolouring, cracking or warping. These products all come with a 20 year guarantee for compete peace of mind.
Expert installation
For fascia boards to be replaced, the roof tiles need to be lifted up 2-3 tiles. The existing roof felt is then lifted up and metre-long, vented under-eaves support trays are installed; these also act as bird guards. The original UPVC fascias will be removed and replaced with your chosen 18mm UPVC boards. Once this is complete, the roof tiles will be re-laid down on top and any gable verges re-cemented where required.
In the case of flat roofs, the fascia boards are usually capped over to avoid disturbing the roof felt which can often be old and brittle.
When existing fascia boards are removed, if there appears to be any additional work such as replacing rotten timbers or realigning joist timbers, we will discuss this with you and provide a quote before continuing work.
Fascia and Soffit costs
The cost of replacing fascias and soffits depends entirely on the size of property, materials used and scope of work, for example if scaffolding is required. If you also need any guttering work carried out, this will further increase the cost.
